Westside Therapy, founded in 2019, is a lower-cost counselling service based in the west of Sheffield. It is a service which acknowledges that the usual higher costs of counselling are not always affordable for the many individuals who seek it. It offers both shorter-term brief therapy and longer-term therapy, depending upon the needs of each individual client and the issues that they bring. It offers face-to-face/on-line/telephone counselling.
Westside Therapy comprises Melanie Mitchell (B.A. Hons., M.A., PMNCS, BUPA therapist network) and Fiona Claydon ( B.A. Hons, RGN. Dip Coun. MBACP ) We offer sessions in the S10 area of Sheffield. (You are invited to read our respective profiles on the National Counselling Society, B.A.C.P and Counselling Directory websites). We both work in private practice but offer a limited number of sessions to this lower-cost service; Melanie offering daytime sessions - Mon, Tues, and Thurs and Fiona offering Wed/Thurs evenings.
